Came to Ynyslas for the weekend to drop off a Double Canoe at Dave & Sarahs Surf Shop (Their Garage...) which they have kindly offered to adopt as we could no longer look after it.

Spent the morning trying not to be persuaded by Al to join him windsurfing on the front, but with 3 fleeces on it was still freezing so I wimped out.

Went over to the estuary in the afternoon with the clan and took the eldest out for a brief paddle in the canoe. Had to prove to Dave that it didn't leak... (He wasn't going to take on any old rubbish...)

Typical, no soon as the canoe left the roofrack it clouded over and started to rain, but it was too late to pull out now.

It was cold, wet and brief but great fun none the less.

PS: The canoe did not leak so Dave & Sarah were beginning to get to grips with the reality of being the proud parents of a Red, Slightly portly Canoe.
